A 24-year-old woman, Andrea Casarrubias Romero, was found dead inside her home after a late-night altercation this weekend.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, just before 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, officers received a check welfare call at a home near 27th Avenue and Devonshire Avenue. Officers arrived and spoke to the caller, who stated he found blood on his driveway that led into his tenant’s portion of the house. Officers entered the home and found Romero deceased from what appeared to be multiple stab wounds.
Detectives believe Casarrubias Romero was assaulted sometime overnight, by a known suspect who is currently outstanding.
