GLENDALE — An early morning fire turned tragic for a Glendale family on Sunday.
One person was killed in the fire at a single-story Glendale house on North 56th Lane.
The victim remains unidentified pending notification of next of kin.
Glendale Fire Department personnel arrived to the residence at around 5 a.m., but the amount of heat and fire coupled with access issues limited their ability to enter the home for a lengthy firefight.
The house had bars on all the doors and windows.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
