Az Legislature to hear testimony on partisan education bill

The Government Reform Committee of the Arizona Sate Senate is set to hear testimony in the matter of three education bills on Wednesday, February 15 at 8:00 a.m. Senator Lori Klein’s proposed legislationn will prevent unipartisan instruction in publically funnded schools.

At issue will also be two other pieces of legislation; SB 1204 that allows parents to act when their children’s schools are failing, and SB 1203 which will require districts to post their curriculum on their websites.

Government Reform Committee members include Senator David Lujan, Senator Frank Antenori, Vice-Chair Senator Lori Klein, Chair Rick Murphy, and Senator Steve Gallardo.
