Tucson Police Department detectives arrested Todd Russell Hezlitt, 38, after serving a search warrant on his home. He was taken into custody and booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center on 2 counts of Sexual Conduct with a Minor, today.
Detectives had responded to the home of Hezlitt in the 9400 blk. of South Roxanne Drive to serve the search warrant. Evidence to include a computer was collected at Hezlitt’s residence. Hezlitt was located at an apartment in the 3500 blk. of West Orange Grove Road.
On March 27, 2012, detectives from the Crimes Against Children Unit responded to a local high school in reference to a possible reported crime of sexual conduct. Information had been received from a third party that Hezlitt, a former school bus driver from a Three Points school, had sexual conduct with a fifteen (15) year-old student.
Detectives made contact with the victim at which time she divulged information about an inappropriate relationship between herself and Mr. Hezlitt.
