Central Arizona home builders endorsements roll in

Arizona home builders pick favorites

The Home Builders Association of Central Arizona PAC released its 2012 primary election endorsements this week, giving its approval to 52 Republican and 11 Democratic candidates for the Legislature.

Jeff Flake won the Arizona home builders’ endorsement in the Senate race. For the most part, the PAC endorsed Republican incumbents except for the LD5 House race, where the group passed over McLain for Republican Kelli Ward, and the LD13 House race, where it endorsed Montenegro and Mitchell over Jones.

The group also endorsed Paton in CD1, Amanda Aguirre in CD3, Gould in CD4, Adams in CD5, Schweikert in CD6, Franks in CD8 and Martin Sepulveda in CD9. The PAC issued a full roster of endorsements in only 14 legislative districts and avoided LD2, LD3, LD9 and LD27 altogether.
