Pima County home invasion prompts school lockdown

On August 9, 2013, at about 10:30 a.m., Pima County deputies responded to a home invasion in the 3000 block of West Coriander Drive. The victim, a 34-year-old man, had obvious signs of trauma to the leg and was transported to the hospital via ambulance for treatment.

Deputies immediately coordinated a search of the area in an attempt to locate the suspects. During the search, Hendricks Elementary School was placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure. The suspects were not located and the lockdown at the school was lifted.

The Sheriff’s Department Robbery/Assault Unit is asking that anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call 88-CRIME or 911.
