Republican governors conference in Scottsdale

PhoenicianArizona’s Governor Brewer is playing host to Republican governors this week in the City of Scottsdale.

Neighboring Governors, New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez and Texas Gov. Rick Perry, along with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, are just a few of the Governors in town for the Republican Governors Association annual meeting.

While we are a long way away from knowing who will make a run for the presidency in 2016, there continues to be a lot of speculation surrounding Christie.

Interestingly, although he is unlikely to make any announcement about his presidential aspirations while he’s in the Valley, Christie will be installed as Chairman of the Republican Governors Association for the coming year. Hopefully, all of those considering themselves a leader of the presidential pack will play nice while they are in the Valley and enjoy the environment.

Surprisingly, the meeting kicked off Tuesday afternoon with a fundraiser.
