Donal Trump has scheduled a campaign rally next week at International Air Response located at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday at noon. Doors open at 10 a.m.

Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton sparked controversy when he issued a statement calling on Trump to “not bring his hateful message of division and intolerance back to Phoenix.” Stanton was referring to Trump’s proposal to ban Muslim immigrants until such a time as the vetting process was secure.

According to Al Jezeera, “When a man who blew himself up in the attacks on Paris last week was found to be in possession of a fake Syrian passport, it highlighted just how easy it was to come by such a thing. Obtaining a fake Syrian passport appears not very difficult at all in the Turkish city of Istanbul, for example – a place many Syrian and Iraqi refugees call home.”

CNN reported on Friday that the Islamic State has access to Syrian government passport printing machines and blank passports, raising the possibility the travel documents could be faked.

According to the CNN report, ICE issued a warning in recent weeks to U.S. law enforcement in which it includes a concern that it is possible someone “may have traveled to the U.S. using a fake passport.”
