Mesa Police are investigating the murder that occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Christmas Day at an apartment complex near South Gilbert Road and U.S. 60.
According to police, officers found 24-year-old Robert Gertos in his apartment with an apparent gunshot wound in what appears to be a drug related crime.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mesa police are seeking the public’s help with any information that would assist them find the gunman or gunmen The suspects many have been in a dark-colored passenger car.
