Early Friday morning, at approximately 4:20 a.m. Pima County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 3200 block of East Alvord Road for a shooting. When deputies arrived they found 30-year-old Jesus Emanuel Santos with gunshot wounds.
Deputies attempted to render aid through the use of their Department issued Individual First Aid Kits (IFAK). Rural Metro Fire Department also responded and rendered aid, unfortunately Mr. Santos was pronounced dead on scene.
Homicide detectives responded and took over the investigation. The suspect is still at large. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
