Sycamore Fire Burning West Of Pena Blanca Lake

The Sycamore Fire is burning in Sycamore Canyon approximately five miles west of Pena Blanca Lake on the Nogales Ranger District. The fire was last reported to be 15 acres.

Crews are working the east flank of the fire. Water drops from helicopters are effectively cooling the fire to allow firefighters access.

No structures are threatened at this time.
