Marana Police Detectives have arrested Ruben Duran Munoz in connection to the shooting of John Kai Jr. that occurred on May 4, 2016. Munoz turned himself in to officials at the Nogales Port of Entry on Tuesday.
Munoz has been booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail for Attempted Murder. He is being held pending extradition to the Pima County Jail.
John Kai Jr. continues to recover from his injuries and has been released from the hospital.
