Calls for warning signs on the southern border fence were ignored last year and now an illegal border crosser is dead. According to the Billings Gazette, the body of a woman was from Jiutepec, Mexico, south of Mexico City was discovered the body on June 16 after a man on the Mexico side of the fence notified them of the body.
The 32-year-old woman apparently fell off a border fence.
The Billins Gazette reported that Nogales Police Department spokesman Sgt. Roberto Fierros said it appeared the fall killed the woman.
