Yuma Sector BP Agents Arrest 10, Seize Drugs

YUMA, Ariz. – Wellton Station Border Patrol agents seized more than $700,000 in narcotics and arrested 10 individuals during two recent incidents.

On July 10, agents stopped a male U.S. citizen and his wife, a Mexican national, at the Border Patrol checkpoint on the eastbound side of Interstate 8, east of Yuma.  After agents directed the driver to a secondary inspection lane, a follow-up search with a canine led to the discovery of 16 pounds of methamphetamine and 35 pounds of cocaine in the vehicle’s rocker panels. The drugs have a combined value exceeding $440,000.

On July 11, agents performing line watch duties tracked footprints found near Gila Bend and caught up with seven men and a juvenile with nine bundles of marijuana valued in excess of $260,000.  All subjects were identified as Mexican nationals in the U.S. illegally.

  1. “Mexican nationals in the U.S. illegally”. Another politically correct term for “Felonious, Criminal, Illegal, Alien, Invaders”.

Just like the obummer administration’s refusing to use the proper term for the Radical Islamist Terror Organization ISIS.
