Extreme DUI San Tan Valley Fatal Hit & Run

On October 8, just after 10 p.m., a southbound vehicle driven by Jorge Cardenas Guerrero, was in a fatal traffic collision on Ironwood Dr. and McCormick Rd., in San Tan valley. Deceased, is Natasha Arellano, 28, of San Tan Valley. She was struck in the roadway north of McCormick by Jorge Cardenas Guerrero, 46, of San Tan Valley. Guerrero was subsequently arrested by PCSO deputies for impaired driving, manslaughter, and leaving the scene of a fatal collision.

Just prior to the fatal collision, the victim and three family members were involved in a non-injury accident and had pulled to the right of Ironwood Dr. to inspect the damage to the car. The victim and her sister were standing outside of their car when a red Mazda sedan, driven by Guerrero, struck the victim’s sister in her arm, then hit the victim, dragging her into the roadway and killing her instantly. The sister was not seriously injured.

Guerrero continued in the red Mazda without stopping. He was located minutes later by a PCSO deputy. He was stopped and arrested near Ironwood and Germann. He was booked into PCSO jail for Manslaughter, Leaving the Scene of a Fatal Collision, and Extreme DUI.
