On Monday April 3, 2017 Cochise County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to two addresses in Douglas Arizona. The first in the 900 block of 18th Street and the second in the 1400 block of 9th Street.
Cochise County Sheriff’s Office Detectives obtained search warrants for the homes based on an ongoing drug/narcotics investigation.
As a result of the search warrants, approximately 117 pounds of marijuana was seized along with a significant amount of cash (exact amount will not be released at this time).
CCSO Special Weapons and Tactics Team along with Southeastern Arizona Border Region Enforcement (SABRE), CCSO Street Crimes Unit, CCSO Patrol and members of the General Investigations Unit assisted in executing the search warrants.
The investigation is being continued by the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office.
