Yuma Narcotics Search Warrant Executed Resulted In Arrest

On Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at approximately 11:16 a.m., investigators with the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force (YCNTF)—which is a multi-agency task force comprised of officers and agents from the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, the Yuma Police Department, the Somerton Police Department, the San Luis Police Department, the U.S. Border Patrol, and the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations—and the Yuma County Special Response Team (SRT) served a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 1700 block of W. 27th Street in Yuma, Arizona. With the assistance of YCSO K-9 “Jax”, the search led to the discovery of approximately 4 grams of methamphetamine, narcotic pills, and paraphernalia consistent with street sales.

The suspect of the search warrant, Jeremiah Bond, 42, of Yuma, Arizona, was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center for possession of a dangerous drug for sale, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of a narcotic drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
