On Monday, April 10, 2017 around 11:00am a dispute broke out between a patron and employee at a tattoo parlor in the strip mall located at 590 N. Alma School Rd. The patron, 23-year-old Michael David Hart, exited the parlor, retrieved a gun from his vehicle, and fired multiple rounds in the direction of the tattoo parlor.
A number of rounds struck a barber shop located next to the tattoo parlor, narrowly missing a four-year-old girl who was inside the barber shop. Hart fled the scene.
On Tuesday, April 11, 2017 Hart was taken into custody at a residence in Mesa.
