Male Democratic Representative Wanted To “Throat Punch” Female Republican Senator

Republican consultant Constantin Querard‏ doesn't miss an opportunity to mock Rubacalva for his “merely rhetorical anger."

Republicans were shocked when democrat lawmaker, Rep. Jesus Rubacalva, posted on Facebook that he wanted to “throat punch Debbie Lesko.” Sen. Lesko was the sponsor of the Empowerment Scholarship Accounts expansion bill, which passed last week on a party line vote.

Rubacalva refused to apologize for his “merely rhetorical anger.”

Rubacalva’s statement, and lack of remorse struck many republicans as hypocritical in light of the democrats’ claim that it is conservatives, who have waged a “war on women.”

Rubacalva is currently a Special Education teacher in the Buckeye Elementary School District, and a member of the Arizona School Boards Association (ASBA). He served as ASBA president in 2015.

Rubacalva “served for eight years on the Gila Bend USD Governing Board. Prior to that, he served on the Paloma ESD Governing Board,” according to the Arizona Legislature’s website.

He is currently under investigation for questionable campaign expense reports.
