Deadly Shooting On Pima County’s Northwest Side

On Monday, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to the 3500 block of West Amber Terrace for a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they found 21-year-old Jaisaac Sloan and 20-year-old Austin Buckshaw with gunshot wounds.

Deputies immediately began to render aid, utilizing their Individual First Aid Kits (I.F.A.K.). Mr. Sloan was pronounced deceased on scene and Mr. Buckshaw was transported to Banner University Medical Center with serious injuries.

Deputies learned the victims were in a camper trailer with other people when the shooting took place. The suspect pulled a gun from a backpack and began to fire. During the incident the suspected shooter was injured and checked himself into a local hospital.
