Tucson Man Convicted Of Sexual Conduct, Molestation

On April 14, 2017, a jury convicted Norman Burt Beverly of one count of Sexual Conduct with a Minor Under Fifteen and one count of Child Molestation.

Back in 2000, Beverly was charged with two counts of sexual conduct with a minor under fifteen and two counts of child molestation.

Within a year of being charged, Beverly fled to Mexico where he remained for over 15 years. In 2015, he was arrested and brought back to Tucson. This case was prosecuted by Deputy County Attorney Lauren Pylipow.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 12, 2017, in Pima County Superior Court Judge Sean Brearcliffe’s courtroom.
