Sawmill Fire Consumes 1500 Acres

The Sawmill Fire started on April 23 at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Arizona Department of Forestry land. The fire is estimated to have burned 1,500 acres.

Ground resources as well as federal aircraft resources are actively suppressing fire.

The fire is burning 10 Miles south of Green Valley.
