The Sierra Vista Police Department arrested a local man for sexual exploitation of a minor on Thursday after finding evidence associated with the transfer of a digital file that had been reported by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Sierra Vista Police Department (SVPD) first received the report regarding the transfer of a digital file depicting a male juvenile exposing his genitals on Jan. 25. After completing extensive follow up, SVPD detectives executed a search warrant in the 5100 block of Galileo Drive on Thursday.
Evidence related to the report was secured from the scene and 34-year-old Sierra Vista resident Shannon Lee Bruce was arrested for sexual exploitation of a minor and booked into Cochise County Jail. Bruce was released from jail this morning, following his initial court appearance.
