Warrant Issued For Suspect In Fatal Tucson Hit And Run

The Tucson Police Department detectives have worked tirelessly to identify the person responsible for the collision that claimed two lives in the early morning hours of May 20, 2017 on S. Park Ave. and E. Drexel Rd. The detectives have identified the driver of the black 2008 Volkswagen Jetta as 21-year-old Oscar Servando Garcia-Pineda and have obtained a Felony Arrest Warrant for Hit and Run Involving A Fatality.

Garcia-Pineda is described as a Hispanic male, 5’4, 115 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his chest with “GARCIA” and a tattoo on his right forearm with Roman numerals “MCMXCV” (1995). Garcia-Pineda has a mole above his right eyebrow and two smaller moles above his left eyebrow. He also has a scar above his left eyebrow.
