Phoenix Police Find Parents Passed Out, Kids In Car

Phoenix Police have arrested the parents of two small children in response to reports that the parents were passed on in a vehicle. The two children, who were inside the car, were placed in the care of the Arizona Department of Child Safety.

Scott Marley, age 24, and the mother of the 1 and 5 year-old children, were first seen near 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road. After passers-by attempted to talk to the parents, the two left the area.

Phoenix Police eventually located the car near 35th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

The mother was taken to the hospital and Marley was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
