On Sunday August 6, 2017, the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a sexual assault which occurred at a residence outside of McNeal.
Sheriff Detectives were able to identify a suspect, 26 year old Jesus Damian Leon of Douglas.
On Thursday August 10, 2017, Detectives located Mr. Leon at a business in Douglas where he was arrested and booked into the Cochise County Jail on the following charges:
Sexual Assault, Assault, Burglary, and Kidnapping.
The investigation is being continued by the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office.
