Attempting Robber Gets “Jack” At Jack in the Box

On July 31, 2017, at approximately 9:00 p.m., deputies responded to the Jack in the Box located at 2985 West Valencia Road for a report of a robbery. When they arrived, deputies learned a man had produced a gun while at the counter and demanded money. The staff member walked away, causing the suspect to flee with no money.

Robbery detectives have taken over the case and obtained surveillance video. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect.

The suspect is described as:

  • Hispanic or Native American, with a dark complexion
  • In his 40s with a medium build
  • He was last seen wearing a black Chicago Bulls hat, white shirt over his shoulders, blue striped polo style shirt, and jeans

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1. You can also submit an anonymous tip, with the potential for a reward, by text, phone, or by going to 88-CRIME.org.
