A microburst in the Page, Arizona area wrecked havoc on Lake Powell and throughout the area on Thursday. There were multiple injuries reported.
Coconino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to two reports of overturned houseboats, and dozens of swamped and sinking powerboats and jet skis.
Most boat related injuries and sinkings occurred on the Utah side.
High winds and heavy rain hit the Page, and Lake Powell areas at about 12:50 p.m.
