Barry Webb’s book, Confessions of an (ex) NSA Spy – Why America and its Allies are Losing the War on Terror is a must-read, and outlines the dangerous threat to western civilization. The author clearly explains in great detail (with supporting references) how the very fabric of our democratic and economic culture has been and still is a feeding ground for the expansion of the Islamic State. First and foremost, the text outlines how President Obama and his administration favored Islam and the related government and supporting Islamic organizations in what appears to be treasonous support of terrorism. In very direct terms, Islam first wants to destroy Israel and kill all Jews. Next in line is to destroy Christianity, starting with the Vatican in Rome. Their warfare is unconventional invasion as refugees who do not assimilate as part of the host countries culture. England is contaminated with Islam, who are first Muslim, and second English citizens. Some English cities have Muslim mayors who allow for Sharia Law.
The misconception is that Islam is a religion, when in fact it is a theocracy that does not allow for any other faith. The author states Islam is a cult, comparable to Nazism. Further, anyone who is of another faith is labelled as an infidel and needs to be killed. Rape is considered to be weapon of subrogation. In this country, there are many good Muslims in spite of Islam and its bad teachings and laws. Webb’s book does a very good job of explaining in detail on how Islam attracts and supports radicals that engage in terrorism.
The reader of the book becomes very aware that Islamic terrorism is a real threat to our western economic culture. It appears to me that our public response to this threat is total ignorance with no need to recognize the danger it presents. What is lacking is an attempt to inform the public of the danger of Islamic terrorism. It is reassuring that President Trump’s travel ban restricts entry to our country with extreme vetting, which does allow for more thorough background checks on those who wish to enter our country. Particularly disturbing is that our Judo-Christian belief is a target of Islamic terrorism because the public is ill-informed and assume Islam is a peaceful religion.
Our American history presents an interesting insight. When Mormons sought to make the territory of Utah a State in the Union, they abolished polygamy. To ensure for a peaceful assimilation of a voluntary Islamic movement, would be to eliminate the hostile teaching and beliefs. This would do a lot to overcome terrorism. The last thing the world needs is a religious war.
Barry Webb’s book is a must-read in order to understand why we are not overreacting and nullifying the threat that ISIS is creating against Western civilization. “Don’t let the nose of the camel into the tent” is so true. We need to remember 911 as well as the grizzly be-headings that have been part of the ideology of Islamic terrorists. For peace to take root in the Middle East, Islam must voluntarily reconstitute their beliefs and become part of the rest of the world. Barry Webb makes it clear that until Islam on its own condemns terrorism, we need to isolate it.
