‘Grimace Bandit’ Wanted For 3 Phoenix Bank Robberies

She is known as the “Grimace Bandit” be FBI agents and is allegedly behind three bank robberies in the past two weeks.

On September 30, 2017, at around 12:26 p.m., an unknown female suspect entered the Chase Bank located at 2950 West Peoria Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona. The unknown suspect approached a victim teller, presented a robbery demand note, and verbally demanded money. The victim teller complied and gave money to the suspect. The suspect then fled the bank on foot.

During the September 30, 2017, robbery, the suspect wore a multi-colored scarf on her head; black sunglasses; a purple, striped shirt; gray yoga pants; and black-and-white Converse-style shoes. During the October 6, 2017, robbery, the suspect wore a purple scarf or burka covering her head and face, dark-framed prescription-style glasses, and a floral top. During the October 9, 2017, robbery, the suspect was described as having reddish, shoulder-length, curly hair. She wore a green shirt with a pink bra, black leggings, a black hat, and large sunglasses.

On October 6, 2017, around 3:45 p.m., the same unknown suspect entered the BMO Harris Bank located at 2839 West Bell Road in Phoenix, Arizona, and approached a victim teller. The suspect placed a purse on the counter and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller complied with the demands and gave the suspect money. The suspect fled from the bank, with the money, in an unknown direction.

On October 9, 2017, just before 7 p.m., the same unknown suspect robbed Midfirst Bank located at 14130 West Indian School Road in Goodyear, Arizona. The unknown suspect left an suspicious package inside the bank, then fled the scene. The package was later determined not to be a threat.
