Arizona House Retains Outside Counsel To Investigate Sexual Harassment Allegations

The Arizona House of Representatives today retained Craig Morgan of the law firm Sherman & Howard to investigate sexual harassment allegations at the Legislature.

Mr. Morgan has does not appear to have any experience with sexual harassment issues. He does have experience in tribal litigation, business litigation, appellate work, and media law. Mr. Morgan served as special counsel to the House Ethics Committee in 2012 during its investigation into former Representative Daniel Patterson.

Speaker JD Mesnard stated, “I have confidence that Mr. Morgan will fairly and thoroughly investigate this matter in a timely manner.”
