Meghan McCain, Ben Domenech Marry At McCain Cornville Compound

Meghan McCain, daughter of Arizona Sen. John McCain, was married Tuesday to her long-time fiance, Ben Domenech at the family’s compound in Cornville, Arizona.

“Meghan McCain and Ben Domenech were married today at the McCain family lodge in Sedona, Arizona,” a representative for the McCain family said in a statement to People. “The bride’s father, Senator John McCain, gave her away and they were married by John Dickerson. Following the ceremony, McCain and Domenech celebrated with dinner and dancing surrounded by their family and close friends.”

Arizona politicos were not completely surprised by the news due to reports of her father’s rapidly declining health.

Domenech is the publisher of The Federalist.

According to People, “The pre-Thanksgiving celebration — for approximately 100 guests including close friends, family and former colleagues who worked on Senator McCain’s two presidential campaigns in 2000 and 2008 — comes just four months after the senator, 81, revealed that he was battling glioblastoma, an aggressive stage 4 brain cancer.”

The couple got engaged at the Mayo Clinic when her father was diagnosed with brain cancer.

  1. I wonder why President Trump didn’t attend? Perhaps his invitation was somehow lost in the mail.
As is often the case with the hired help, no mention on the mini me Flake being there.

  2. Hmm….. Rumors abound.
Have we seen John McCain lately, why not?
Hats off to Meghan for moving the Wedding so her Father could be there.
Is Sen McCain really using a wheel chair now?
Will his appointed replacements last name start with a D. (not Ducey)?
