Yuma Sheriff Investigates Theft Of 3 Tractors

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the theft of three New Holland farm tractors stolen from two separate locations.

On November 30, 2017 the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of East County 5th Street and South Avenue 40E in reference to a theft of two blue New Holland T6080 tractors. When deputies arrived they met with the reporting party that said that they had seen a white semi-truck with a lowboy trailer loading up two farm tractors on November 25, 2017 at approximately 10:00 a.m., however; did not report them stolen. The reporting party believed that they had been mistakenly taken by another company and waited to make a report to see if they would return the tractors.

On December 4, 2017 the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of County 17th Street and Avenue I, in reference to a theft of a 2013 blue New Holland T6120 tractor and a 25′ chain driven Denair trailer. Tractor and trailer were taken from the area between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
