Illegal Alien Charged With Assault On A Federal Agent

A border fence divides the communities of Nogales, Ariz., and Nogales, Mexico. Talk of a much larger wall and a possible renogtiation of NAFTA has residents nervous on both sides. (Photo by Diego Mendoza-Moyers/Cronkite News)

A 25-year-old Mexican man has been charged with assaulting a U.S. federal agent after he attacked a Tucson Sector Border Patrol agent east of Nogales, Arizona Sunday.

In response to an alert of possible illegal activity near the international boundary, the agent attempted to arrest a suspect found scaling the wall. The suspect resisted arrest, kicking the agent multiple times in the head. Despite the assault, the agent was able to get the combative subject off the fence to complete the arrest before being evaluated at a local hospital for his injuries.

The Mexican national will be processed for immigration violations in accordance with Tucson Sector guidelines, and charged for assault.

  1. so the illegal was climbing back over the fence, to get away, the agent pulled him down and back into the US to arrest him, in the process the illegal kicked him in the head to try and get back over the fence – but what he was really mad about was that NAFTA might be changed and the wall may become higher, so that’s the reason the agent was kicked in the head because folks are anxious on both sides of the fence in Nogales. Who’s the ADI agent writing this stuff this morning…

    • “…but what he was really mad about was that NAFTA might be changed and the wall may become higher, so that’s the reason the agent was kicked in the head because folks are anxious on both sides of the fence in Nogales.”

Justifying these cockroaches to assault our border patrol while invading our country or sarcasm?

      • What Again – obvious sarcasm – but think about this description – the illegal alien was trying to go up the fence and back into Mexico, to avoid being caught, the BP was after him, pulling him off the fence on the northern side of the border, the IA was on his way up the fence to go south.. so was this ‘assault’ or ‘escape evasion’ – the story doesn’t tell ‘the rest of the story’ – that he was caught on this side of the border – is reason enough ; is assault the situation here – I have my reservations on that. I am a supporter of BP and our laws, but with anything there is ‘the rest of the story’ justification of the cockroaches.. to assault – perhaps but you really don’t know. Was the IA resisting, yes – that alone justifies the charges regardless. Was he mad about NAFTA – what a stupid part of information in this story, a propaganda tadpole – really that’s what he was thinking about as he went over the fence. Pure feces I’d say…

Don’t care what this cockroach was thinking. Too bad your allegiances are torn between the US and Mexico. Your sympathy for the devil kills Americans and puts our brave men and women in harms way.

      • my allegiances torn between the US and Mexico – hardly – I’m simply reading what is written in the article – then questioning – how did this occur? Just like when the young man was shot by BP killing him after being shot in the back several times.. the perp having tossed rocks over the fence.. and the BP fired back in like manner? Of course not, he went to the fence poked his weapon through the fence fired seven times? hitting the 16 year old how many times ? Six? killing him dead, judge, jury and executioner – on Mexico’s side of the border. So please What Again – keep your “I know everything” where it came from, especially when your telling me what my actions are resulting in. It’s odd – I do agree with you, but you appear to be quite the anti – Mexican anything. You don’t like my manner.. to bad … my dues, allegiances, taxes, service time, combat time, all paid up to date. You sir seem to be a discredit to the species.

I get it now, as long as the scum of the earth from down south complete their assault and are in the process of re-entering the filthy, corrupt 3rd world country of Meheeco – all is good.

Well, except the agent that got kicked in the head and the Americans that have been burgled, raped and pillaged.

          Viva Meheeecoooo!

        • What, Again | December 6, 2017 at 7:07 am |

You’re the one applying for citizenship to Meheeco, of which you think is of equal standing in their economic, political and moral climate to the US – your allegiance to the USA is certainly diminished.

        • my allegiance diminished…dang man I’ve been called a lot of things.. but you, your just a old Coot! Oh it’s not my way so can’t have any possible way – top which I say, pound sand old man. 🙂 Ta ta… taco

  2. maybe we the readers should have a ‘your comment is awaiting moderation and comment’ see if we the readers don’t throw the article back to bytedumb.. or where ever it is that ‘moderated’ articles go that don’t pass in moderation are become either ‘excessive or so lacking’ that fail to be ‘moderate’ makes me feel fuzzy already.

I concur with the above comments. After reading the report I found the story so convoluted and poorly written so I then scrolled back up to the top and was shocked that it didn’t come from Cronkite News.
This is clearly all Trumps fault.

  4. It’s a pity that more criminal illegal aliens aren’t as anxious as the one in this article was to go back South! Perhaps a catapult could assist them.

I read the article three times and I have to ask, was he sneaking in or out of the country? I wish the COT would get a backbone and declare us a sanctuary city so we could charge the local officials with all the crimes committed by illegals. At some point we would have to run out of anti American liberals wouldn’t we?

    • that’s a funny take, I don’t know I could scale a wall as it is.. and once I got to the top.. getting down – and how would I be treated on the ‘other side’ ; one of the questions I’ve had of myself is ‘am I hard enough to be a Mexican’ because it is ‘have or have not’s’ so saying no will have a new meaning… in my business a true test of ethic.
