The mother of a 2 year old boy, 26 year old Buckeye resident, Alyssa Pettibone, has been arrested in connetion with his shooting death.
On December 15, 2017 at about 4:12 p.m., Buckeye Police Department received a 911 call of a shooting incident at the 1400 block of S 230th Ave. Officers arrived quickly and found two involved subjects inside the home. One victim, the 2 year old boy who was found with a gunshot wound and pronounced deceased by fire personnel on scene and his mother who was found with stab wounds and was taken to a local hospital.
On Monday, Pettibone was released from the hospital and taken into custody by Buckeye Police Detectives.
Pettibone has been booked into the Maricopa County 4th Ave on 2nd Degree Murder charges.
