A standoff between Phoenix Police and a man, who killed a woman and two children, lasted seven hours on Christmas Day. The standoff ended after a brief exchange of gun fire at an apartment complex located near 16th Street and Highland Avenue.
One Phoenix Police officer was also injured. He is in the hospital in stable condition.
The two children killed were 11 years old, and 10 months old.
