Man Points Gun At Woman At Circle K For Complaining About Parking

Sheriff needs Help identifying the suspect.

On Friday, October 13, 2017, just before 7:00 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to the Circle K located at 5801 North Oracle Road for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies learned there had been a verbal altercation between a female victim and a male suspect in the parking lot of the Circle K.

The suspect had parked next to the victim’s vehicle which prevented her from getting into her vehicle so she could leave. The suspect then went into the store and purchased some beer. When he came out of the store he flipped off the victim as he was backing out of the parking space. The victim verbally confronted him, at which time he pointed a handgun at her through the window of his truck. He sped away from the scene onto Oracle Road.

The suspect is described as:

  • Hispanic, between 35 and 45-years-old, with a dark goatee
  • Approximately 5’6” to 5’8” in height, heavy build
  • Last seen wearing a dark New York Yankees hat, New York Yankees button-up shirt, and plaid shorts
  • Last seen driving a newer model black Toyota Tacoma

Robbery/Assault Unit detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1. You can also submit an anonymous tip, with the potential for a reward, by text, phone, or by going to 88-CRIME.org.
