Teen, Brother Arrested In Green Bay For Phoenix Homicide

On Friday, January 12th, 2018, detectives with the Phoenix Police Department contacted the Green Bay Police Department regarding an investigation of the death of Phoenix resident, 48-year-old Jon Clarke. Working with the United States Marshall’s Office, Phoenix detectives had reason to believe a suspect might be headed to a residential address in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The detectives requested the assistance of the Green Bay Police Department in attempting to verify the suspect was still at the residence, and to provide surveillance of the residence until they could arrive in Green Bay.

The Green Bay Police Department provided resources to assist with surveilling the residence and attempting to locate the suspect and the suspect vehicle. Thesuspect was taken into custody without incident.

Phoenix Detectives arrived in Green Bay and continued their investigation along with Green Bay Police Department Detectives and Community Police Officers. Another male located in the residence, the brother of the original suspect, was also arrested for his role in the homicide.

The suspect, age 21 and 16 are in secure custody for warrants issued by the State of Arizona and are expected to be extradited to the State of Arizona to face charges of:

1. First Degree Murder
2. Armed Robbery
3. Kidnapping
4. Theft of a Motor Vehicle
