MS-13 Gang Member Arrested By Border Patrol In Yuma

Agents patrolling near the U.S./Mexico border apprehended Edwin Reyes-Cruz, a 40-year-old Honduran citizen who had entered the U.S. illegally, and transported him to the Yuma Station for processing.

While conducting a records check on Reyes, agents learned he was a MS-13 gang member previously removed from the country twice. Records also revealed he had multiple convictions, including robbery, and manufacturing and distributing controlled substances.

Reyes will remain in federal custody pending prosecution for criminal immigration violations involving re-entry of a previously deported felon, per Yuma Sector guidelines.
