Seeking Owner Of Property Stolen In Yavapai County

Can you Identify the Tools in this Box that were apparently Stolen in Yavapai County

Over the past several weeks, deputies have been investigating burglary cases in and around Chino Valley resulting in at least 2 arrests and the service of search warrants. The work by deputies has likely caused some involved to conceal stolen property from law enforcement officers.

During the last week of December, 2017, deputies were dispatched to a wash area near Morgan Trail in Chino Valley, regarding a report of found property. A couple out for a walk on Morgan Trail noticed a stash of powered construction tools hidden and believed they were likely stolen items. Deputies recovered the property and have since conducted record checks, case reviews, and notification to local police agencies, in an attempt to find the rightful owner. These efforts have so far, not been successful.

Items found include 2 DeWalt saws along with a Craftsmen tool box – see photo- which contained several battery powered Craftsmen tools, charges and batteries.

Deputies would like to locate the owners of these tools as soon as possible as part of their ongoing investigation into burglaries around the quad cities.

If you can identify these items, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 928-771-3260 – refer to case 17-046254. Descriptions of the items are intentionally vague so that the rightful owner may provide further details proving ownership.
