Robert Allen Gabbert, age 27, was arrested after carjacking a vehicle and crashing into another car on Sunday.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately around 7:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Gabbert had attempted to rob the injured male and the female he was with.
Gabbert then stole a car at gunpoint. He was finally arrested after crashing the vehicle in the Central Avenue and Bell Road area.
