The Sierra Vista Police Department responded to Buena High School at about 8:45 a.m. today to investigate an Instagram photo showing two juveniles on campus holding a rifle.
Officers quickly identified the students and the rifle was determined to be an inert, non-firing replica.
The juveniles were referred for disorderly conduct and will be released to their parents.
