Armed Foothills Robber, Accomplices Arrested

Late last week Pima County deputies responded to a call from a homeowner who was watching video surveillance of individuals breaking into her house.

While en route deputies received a call from a second homeowner where a male with a handgun was trying to break in. Fortunately, the suspect was not successful.

The male then ran to a third residence. When the homeowner opened the door, the male claimed he needed medical attention, at which point the homeowner noticed the male was armed with a handgun. The homeowner, being armed himself, disarmed the male and told him to sit on the couch.

While the homeowner was trying to get deputies’ attention, the male fled. The homeowner was able to point deputies in the direction the male had ran and a foot pursuit ensued. Deputies located the male inside of a residence where he was physically restraining a female homeowner. Deputies ultimately apprehended the male along with two females from the initial burglary.

  1. Ah, yes, the dreamers again. Where is Barry on all of this? Oh, that’s right he left office and the country in much worse shape than he found it and the DREAMers are a prime example of his stupidity.

    • Ignorance hampers solving this problem.
All 3 are natural born US citizens.
But I realize knee-jerk reactions are more convenient.

  2. Wonder why the home owners gun did not fire on it’s own?

    • Ha ha ha! Good One. My guns must love me or else they would have killed me by now. They never even attempted to kill our youngster either.

  3. They all have the same look, the walking dead of drug addiction – life is hell addicted

  4. This report leaves out a very important fact – WHERE did this incident happen! A Foothills location is way too broad; concerned citizens need to know where exactly attacks like this one are being targeted.
Fuzzy reporting by the police or by ADI?

Look at the bright side, state sponsored jail time is far cheaper then state funded rehab, either way they should be drug free soon.
Pima County sheriff vehicles day: Keeping the peace since 1865, perhaps the jail should have a new motto as well: Helping people get sober since 1865….

Are you sure? I’ve heard stories from many people who have been jailed at various locations in Arizona and it sounds to me like drugs aren’t so hard to come by, unfortunately. The same with the prisons and some of the rehabs :/ We need a new game plan to get people off of drugs aside from simply trying to remove the availability of them. I haven’t quite figured out what it is though…
