Coyote Sentenced For Guiding Illegal Aliens For Profit

Jose Pastrano-Rios, 53, of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico, was sentenced by U.S. Chief District Judge Raner C. Collins to 60 months in prison with three years of supervised release to follow. Pastrano-Rios had previously pleaded guilty to one count of bringing in illegal aliens for profit.

Pastrano-Rios was arrested on May 19, 2017, for guiding a group of nine illegal immigrants, including two unaccompanied minors, into the United States. Agents were able to determine that Pastrano-Rios was known as “El Bigotes” and was a known human smuggler. 

Pastrano-Rios was previously identified as a foot guide for groups of illegal immigrants who were smuggled into the United States on three occasions in 2016.

    An immigrant is a person that comes here under our laws and programs. A illegal is a criminal who breaks every law coming into this Country, and keeps breaking them in staying here.

    How do we Follow up on his 3 years of supervised release what is tha anyway probation? So am I to take it we will keep him here when he is like 60, Till he is 63 then keep him here and put on SS, because to send him home Mazatlan with no skills and 9 years mandatory court required time to spend here. Give him his time in guantanamo bay resort and release into a Spanish speaking culture as not to shock
