The City of Tempe Judicial Advisory Board will conduct a public hearing to receive community comments on the job performance of Presiding Judge Kevin Kane. The hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Friday, May 4, in Courtroom 7 on the third floor of the Tempe Municipal Court, 140 E. Fifth St.
Written comments also will be accepted by the board, and must be received no later than Tuesday, May 1. Comments may be sent by e-mail to kimberly_sotelo@tempe.gov, by fax to 480-350-8581 or mailed to:

The panel will consider these comments when deciding whether to recommend Judge Kane for reappointment. The Tempe City Council makes the official appointment.
Judge Kane was appointed as the Tempe Municipal Court Presiding Judge in July 2016 and will be completing his current two-year term in July 2018.
