Tempe Police Release Sketch Of Sex Assault Suspect

On May 5, 2018 at approximately 2:10 a.m., Tempe Police responded to the area of Mill Avenue and 12th Street, regarding the assault of an adult female.

The initial investigation revealed that the 22-year-old victim was walking alone when an unidentified man subject approach the victim from behind and pushed her to the ground and assaulted her. At this time it is believed that the attack was sexually motivated.

A passerby intervened and the suspect fled into a nearby neighborhood and was unable to be located.

The suspect is unknown to the victim and is described as the Hispanic male in his late 20s to early 30s he is approximately 5’7″ to 5’8″ with the medium build and no facial hair, tattoos, or jewelry. He was last seen wearing a dark baseball hat a blue gray T-shirt and long pants and white tennis shoes.
