[Update] Yavapai County Deputies Investigate Deadly Collision

Based on physical evidence of vehicle damage, roadway marks, and vehicle tire marks, along with witness statements, the Kia Soul had been hit in the passenger side while perpendicular to the Dodge truck.

The collision occurred in the south lane of Williamson Valley Rd. Due to this evidence, it has been determined the Kia Soul was turning left from north Williamson Valley Road onto west Stazenski Road, and crossed into the path of the Dodge truck travelling south.

As a result, it appears the Kia driver, Mr. Greyeyes, is the at fault party due to an illegal turning movement in front of the Dodge truck which legally occupied the south lane.

An interview with Mr. Greyeyes is pending due to his ongoing medical treatment. His injuries are not indicated as life threatening. Blood test results are also pending from both drivers.
