Today at about 11:26 a.m., Maricopa County inmate Andrew Johnson walked away from an inmate work detail while in the area of 59th Avenue and Olive.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office personnel are working with local law enforcement agencies to locate Johnson.
According to authorities, inmates on the work detail are selected for the assignment and are classified as low risk and have nonviolent charges.
Detectives actively working this case and are looking for the public’s help in locating him.
It is possible he is no longer wearing the orange inmate attire he had on.
