Surprise Man Shot, Killed By Repairman

On Friday, July 20, at around 3:20 p.m., Surprise Police responded to a home in the area of Citrus road and Grand avenue after a repairman shot a male resident of the home.

The repairman was taken into custody without incident. He is cooperating with investigators.

The resident of the home was identified as 41-year-old Frank Pineda. He was transported to a local valley hospital for treatment, however, he ultimately succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced deceased.
