For a second time in a week, Glendale firefighters rescued a dog from a canal. Firefighters rescued a dog early Saturday morning after it got stuck in the water.
Bystanders alerted authorities to the animal’s struggle in the canal near 83rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
Police took the dog to a shelter shortly after the rescue.
